• Too Close: Light will make a defined ring on skin. This will occur at a distance closer than 100mm.

This is the simplest and most economical way to get a golden tan in the comfort and privacy of your own home. The I-Bod Personal Airbrush is the easiest way to apply sunless tanning solutions to your body. The I-Bod sprays out a fine mist that dries completely in 5-10 minutes. You can control how heavy your application is to ensure the streak-free & tanned look you want to achieve. And of course if you decide the next day you want to be a little darker or more tanned, you can just top your application up with another light spray. 

For convenience the I-Bod is the size of a small hand-held hair-dryer, so easy to pack away in the suitcase and take on holiday- you won't need to bake and fry in the sun this year to achieve that summer-glow look.

Frequently asked Questions

Does the tanning liquid smell?
Our tanning solutions have a subtle and pleasant fragrance. There is no objectionable smell as the tanning agents react with your skin.
Does the tanning lotion stain clothing?
There are no instant bronzers in our I-Bod solutions so there  no colours or stains that transfer to clothes or bedding.
How long will the 250ml bottle last?
For a 'full body tan' you should use around 50 to 60ml.
How long will the tan last on the skin?
This depends on your lifestyle, skin type, preparation, application and after-tan care. One application should last from 4 or 5 and up to 7-10 days as this is how long it takes for the uppermost layer of your skin which has the tan to naturally exfoliate. Frequent use of a moisturiser or our TanX tan extender and moisturiser will help prolong your tan
Where do I get the tanning solution after I used the supplied solution?

How do I flush out the unit?
Simply fill the solution container with water and spray.
How long should I allow for solution to dry?
Allow approximately 5-10 minutes of drying time before getting dressed. Drying time may vary based on how heavy the application is. You can speed this up with a hair dryer if you are short on time.
How long should I wait before taking a shower?
For maximum results, we recommend you wait at least 6-8 hours before showering, or working up a sweat, for the active tanning ingredients DHA & Erythrulose to fully absorb. Even better, overnight.
Will I see bronzer come off when I take a shower?
Our I-Bod solutions do not contain instant bronzers..
I applied the sunless tanning solution in my bathroom, how can I clean the solution from my bathroom surfaces?
Our solutions can be cleaned from bathroom surfaces with ordinary household cleansers. However, it is recommended that you place a large towel beneath your feet prior to airbrush tanning with the I-Bod.
What is DHA?
DHA is a solution that causes the proteins in the outside layer of your skin to react with the oxygen in the air resulting in a bronzing effect. This process allows the DHA to work with your skin’s own tone to create a natural healthy and even looking tan.
What is Erythrulose?
Erythrulose is a newer & more refined tanning ingredient than DHA. When combined with DHA it has been shown to provide a more uniform, streak-free, longer lasting & natural looking tan than solutions containing just DHA. This is an expensive ingredient & is often not used in cheaper solutions.
Will the Tanning solution provide sun protection?
The Tanning solution does not contain a sunscreen and will not protect your skin against ultraviolet light.

** Important Information**

Potential purchasers must realise, spray tanning successfully with great results requires a little practice. This applies with commercial machines applied by experienced technicians, and also with personal units such as our I-Bod.
We know how important the technique is, because we use and sell both systems! You cannot expect to just 'point' the I-Bod at yourself, pull the trigger and spray, and look like you have just been on holiday in a beach resort in the tropics!
However, if you follow our simple instructions, and with a little practice, you can achieve professional results with our I-Bod and salon grade solutions. Your tan should be far superior to 'rub on' lotions and creams which may cause streaking and obvious 'fake tan' results, and with our 'salon strength' solutions, you should expect more impressive tanning results with one application than you may expect from many 'over the counter' products.
'Over the counter products' are often low strength meaning you will need to apply several applications to achieve a tan. Any 'mistakes and streaks are therefore 'hidden', but you need to apply repeatedly to achieve a result. Are you really prepared to apply a cream by hand every night all over you body, evenly, every night?
With our I-Bod, you can achieve results as good as you may get at your favourite salon in one simple application!  And at $5 to $7 per spray tan, (solution cost) isn't it worth spending a little time perfecting your technique?

My daughter (18) and I use the IBod sunless tanning and it is the best tanning product ever!  We have tried countless cream and spray tans from pharmacies and supermarkets over the years but have never had the fantastic streak-free result that we get with the Ibod.  The tan colour is very natural and it is so simple to use.  It is also alot more economical using the Ibod than buying bottles of cream. Well done on a fantastic product!
